Ken Keller - President and CEO
Ken Keller is currently President and CEO of Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and President, Daiichi Sankyo Administrative and Commercial for Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. Ken has more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in sales and marketing leadership, general management and joint venture leadership, as well as chief operating officer experience in several therapeutic areas including oncology, rheumatology, dermatology and primary care.
Prior to joining the Daiichi Sankyo Group, Mr. Keller was the Chief Operating Officer at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, where he had global responsibility for leading commercial operations, medical and clinical development, regulatory, quality, safety and pharmaceutical operations. Under his leadership, Spectrum's portfolio grew from two to four marketed products, and has effectively advanced a number of product candidates through pivotal studies.
Prior to joining Spectrum, Mr. Keller spent 21 years at Amgen. His most recent role was Vice President and General Manager, Bone Health Business Unit. Previous to this role, he was responsible for the Inflammation Business Unit which contributed more than $3 billion in revenue. During his career at Amgen, Mr. Keller was the marketing lead or the general manager for four of the world's top selling biologic medicines Neupogen®, Neulasta®, Aranesp® and Enbrel®. He also has significant international experience as managing director for Amgen's United Kingdom and Ireland Affiliate.
Mr. Keller holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business from Saint John's University and a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University.
Gopal Anyarambhatla, Ph.D., - Vice President of Research and Development
Gopal Anyarambhatla, Ph.D., is Vice President of Research and Development. He joined Luitpold’s PharmaForce Division as Head of R&D in June of 2012 and became Vice President in January, 2013. Prior to Luitpold, he served as Director of R&D at Celsion Corporation focused on development of oncology products. From 2005 to 2010, he was Director of R&D at Akorn, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company.
Gopal is responsible for R&D operations at Luitpold’s Ohio and New York operations including product selection and development, technology transfer, process development and technical operations. Gopal has over 12 year’s pharmaceutical industry experience in addition to 3+ years of Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Duke University.
Dr. Anyarambhatla earned his Ph.D. at Mumbai University with an emphasis on targeted drug delivery formulations for cancer treatment. Additionally, he earned a MBA at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Joseph J. Boyle - Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Joseph J. Boyle is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Boyle joined Luitpold in February of 2017 and is responsible for leading the accounting and finance team in providing financial management, creating value for the organization, and providing insights to drive decisions and alignment with business objectives and growth strategy.
Joe brings 25 years of financial and organizational leadership expertise to Luitpold. Mr. Boyle’s experience includes 20 years in positions of increasing responsibility within the pharmaceutical industry. Joe spent the majority of his career at Johnson & Johnson providing financial leadership at the operating company level as well as within J&J’s corporate treasury and Global Financial Shared Services functions. Most recently, Joe was Vice President of Finance and CFO, North America Generics for Teva Pharmaceuticals.
Joe earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Lehigh University and a MBA from LaSalle University. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and is a Certified Management Accountant.
Paul Diolosa - Vice President of Manufacturing
Paul Diolosa is Vice President of Manufacturing where he is responsible for all manufacturing activities at the New York site as well as engineering, facilities, and procurement. Paul joined Luitpold in 2008 as Director of Engineering and assumed his current role in 2011. He has 20 years’ experience in engineering and manufacturing with 15 of those in the pharmaceutical industry.
Mr. Diolosa is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and he earned a MBA from New York Dowling College. He is certified as a Professional Engineer in the State of New York and holds several professional certifications in manufacturing and engineering.
Paul has been active in scouting, himself earning the Eagle Scout designation, youth activities and physical fitness having once served as a personal trainer.
Gretchen Fritz - Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Gretchen Fritz is responsible for overseeing all legal matters and providing strategic partnership for Luitpold and its subsidiaries. Since joining Luitpold in 2015, her focus has been on building the in-house legal function in order to provide expert, strategic and efficient advice to advance the company’s business interests; ensure compliance with legal requirements; secure and defend contractual, IP and other rights; and educate colleagues in the management of legal risks and opportunities.
Since joining the Daiichi Sankyo Group in 2006, Gretchen has served in a number of legal positions with increasing degrees of responsibility including Associate General Counsel, a global position that reported to the head of Legal and Compliance at Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd. in Japan, and Associate General Counsel, Commercial Brands, a U.S. position leading a team of brand attorneys and legal operations personnel at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc.
Before joining the Daiichi Sankyo Group, Gretchen was a litigation associate at the law firms of Hogan Lovells and Winston & Strawn LLP in New York.
Gretchen earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Purchase, and a law degree (J.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
Michael T. Kahrer - Vice President of Human Resources
Michael T. Kahrer is Vice President of Human Resources where he leads all HR functions as well as internal communications and corporate and social responsibility. Mr. Kahrer joined Luitpold in 2011. He has 25 years pharmaceutical industry experience including assignments with Organon Biosciences where he was Vice President of Human Resources and Business Services at Schering Plough Corporation.
Mike is a graduate of Saint Peter’s University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Upsala College where he earned a Master of Science in Human Resource Management. He also earned several professional certifications in human resources.
Mr. Kahrer is a member of the Board of Regents at Saint Peter’s University and has served as a Vice President and Board Member of Raphael’s Life House Inc. in addition to numerous community based volunteer activities.
Linda M. Mundy - Chief Medical Officer
Linda M. Mundy, MD, PhD is Chief Medical Officer. She is responsible for Clinical Research and Development, Medical Affairs, and Pharmacovigilance, at Luitpold Pharmaceuticals and its divisions. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Mundy held a Director role at GlaxoSmithKline in Worldwide Epidemiology with work focused on global antibacterial drug discovery and development.
Dr. Mundy earned a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors at Pace University and was inspired to go to medical school after refugee healthcare work in Southeast Asia work with the International Rescue Committee. She completed her medical degree, internal medicine residency, and infectious diseases fellowship training at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and subsequently joined the Department of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. She subsequently completed a doctoral degree, with a concentration in epidemiology, at the Saint Louis University School of Public Health. She has over 250 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and invited lectureships. She joined Luitpold in May 2015 and is committed to her leadership role in pharmaceutical drug development and population health.
Dante J. Serricchio - Vice President and General Manager
Dante J. Serricchio is Vice President and General Manager. In this role, he oversees manufacturing and quality activities at Luitpold’s Shirley, NY location and it’s PharmaForce Division in Columbus, OH. Dante joined Luitpold in 2012 to manage all activities in Ohio, and assumed responsibility for New York in 2013.
A graduate of Villanova University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Dante also did post graduate work in Advanced Biological Studies at the University of the Pacific. Mr. Serricchio has over 35 years pharmaceutical manufacturing experience with Merck, Schering Plough, Organon Teknika and Organon Biosciences.
Dante is a member of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA)
Harsher Singh - Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer
Harsher Singh is the VP and Chief commercial officer of Luitpold pharmaceuticals. He is responsible for leading Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Commercial Operations for the multisource franchise as well as for our Venofer injectable Iron business. Mr. Singh joined Luitpold in January 2016.
Prior to Luitpold Harsher was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company in New York. At McKinsey he spent 7 years working with Generic Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Specialty Pharmaceutical and Private equity owned Healthcare IT companies on issues related to strategy, M&A, portfolio and commercial model innovations. Prior to joining McKinsey, Harsher worked with FieldFresh Foods, a start-up JV funded by NM Rothschild and India's Bharti group where he established a Cold Chain and procurement platform to export fresh produce to highly regulated markets including Japan.
Harsher holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Joel Steckler - Vice President, Commercial Operations, Animal Health and Osteohealth
Joel Steckler is Vice President, Commercial Operations, Multisource, Animal Health and Osteohealth. He is responsible for sales and marketing for these divisions as well as contracting, customer service, trade relations and distribution for all Luitpold Divisions. Joel joined Luitpold in 1995 as Customer Service Supervisor. He assumed greater responsibilities with the organization and was named Director of Customer Service in 2005, Senior Director of Customer Operations in 2010 and Vice President in 2014.
Mr. Steckler attended Queensboro College and New York University where he studied business management. Prior to Luitpold, Joel worked in operations management at Medical Hall Pharmacies/Remcourt Drugs Inc.
Joseph Tedesco - Vice President, Information Technology
Joseph Tedesco is Vice President, Information Technology. He is responsible for all of Luitpold’s systems including voice, data, digital, networks, hardware and software. He has led the Information Technology Department since 2001 and was named Vice President in 2011.
Mr. Tedesco is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Math and Statistics/ Computer Science.
Joe has been involved with youth sports and mentorship in the Suffolk County NY area.
Claus Weisemann, Ph.D. - Vice President, Quality Affairs
Claus Weisemann, Ph.D. is Vice President, Quality Affairs. He joined Luitpold in 2014 and is responsible for managing the right systems and processes to ensure products meet standards for safety and efficacy and is manufactured in accordance with cGMPs. With over 23 years of industry experience, Claus previously held quality leadership roles with Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Grifols Biologicals, Watson Laboratories, and Bayer.
Dr. Weisemann is a graduate of University of Ulm, Germany with an advanced degree in chemistry and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry.
Claus is a member of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA), the German and American Chemical Societies, International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and holds a number of advisory roles for various organizations and institutions. In his free time, Claus is a member of the Civil Air Patrol, holds a commercial pilot license and is a certified flight instructor.
